Pierre Lécuyer

Pierre was born on the 24th of November 1964 in Callengeville ( Normandy )

He studied first in Rouen (mainly scientific subjects) and passed the Baccalauréat. He then went on for higher education in the ISAB (Institute for Higher Agricultural Studies) and successfully obtains an engineer diploma.

Pierre starts riding ponies at the age of 8.
At 14, he became the Normandy poney champion. He took part in the Söder competition (Germany) which was preparatory for the European Poney Championship He then rode his pony Havane (This very same poney wich gave Alexandra Ledermann her first champion of France title) for this European championship in Le Touquet.

He then started riding horses as an eventer, and took part in 1981 in the regional championship in Pompadour.
He becomes Picardy's Champion 3rd team in 1983.
Since 1985 he has been riding on a national level and piling up prices
With Roana at first ( Barigoule and La Fayette III by Diableur ) he won the international CSA Grand Prix of Dunkerque, a national A2 class in Maisons Lafittes. He also competed in the second category France championship and won many prices in different national Grand Prix.

Since 1984 he has been the associate manager (together with his brother Romain) of the SNC Lecuyer Haras d'Ysieux at his best.
His main activities are :

	Coaching private owners in competition
	Schooling young horses
	Compting
	Drawing Highlander Royal (son of Royal Feu and Roana.), the second young stallion of the Haras, to his best.
